Safpu general secretary Thulaganyo Gaoshubelwe confirms that the match didn’t go ahead after FC AK players refused to play because management has allegedly failed to pay them for five months.

KickOff.com put a call through to Blanckensee to ascertain what could happen to FC AK for failure to turn up for the fixture.

He says: “Well, we will send it to the Disciplinary Committee to decide [on the sanction], so we will wait for them to make a decision.”

The DC will handle the matter after receiving a report.
