Mahikeng-The Much anticipated Pageant that had been making waves for months finally came to a close up with 12 young Ladies and 12 young Guys Competing to be Crown FACE OF MHK & MR MHK.

The show was witnessed by a full house, the models sparkling in elegant attires from different designers including showcase their talent in abundance.

They were sponsored by different Label Designers like Franco Fabric Designer MHK, Aubrey Fashions frm Vryburg and lastly Modern Images Events Company frm JHB.

“This show is initially based on empowering and boosting young women’s image who are all from different background” said Bayo Selogilwe who was one of the Organizers.

The Crowning of Face Of MHK & MR MHK became tense affair when the second Prince Mr Tumelo Masupa was announced.

Who came in second place was Ms Gilda Ki, 1st Prince was announced Mr Kabelo Motswere and Ms Baby Palesa Mogadimetso was declared as second princess.

The event reaches its summit when Lawrence Modise was Crowed Mr MHK 2012 and Molebogeng Nkagisang Named the Queen Face Of MHK 2012.

“Nkagisang a learner from Potch Girls High tried her luck for the second time as Face OF MHK, and showed some pedigree and held high like a real diva” lesego Molamu said.

“Modise is learner at Kebonang High school. He has show that he has what it takes and said  the competition assisted him to build his confidence” He adds.

The judges were Mr King SA Chris Moumakwe, Mr Gauteng Ally Mthembu, Mr Teen Thabane Gomolemo Khunwano, Mr Diamond City Kimbly Kagisho Maretela, Mmakobedi Choabi Producer at Motsweding FM, Assitent Director Mpho Molosiwa, Lydia Eagle Skhosana Frm North West FM.

“As judges we are positive that we finally came to a firm decision of choosing a young person who can represent the youth. She/He is able to understand what other teenagers are going through on daily basis” said Mr King South Africa Chris Moumakwe.

“The event attracted many people and the decorations were out of this world. We appreciate the support we received from those who chipped in to make it happen” said Organisers.

“I am delighted and appreciate all the support I got from all the sponsors. To all the parents who supported their Children and stood by their side from the beginning of the Competition, we would like to say thank you” Lesego Molamu asserted.
