Zeerust- North West police are investigating an inquest docket after two girls were killed allegedly by heat.
“Two girls aged 2 and 3 were allegedly playing inside a wrecked car parked in the yard” Colonel Emelda Setlhako said.
The incident took place on saturday at Henryville Township.
“According to information received the kids were playing in the wreckage and when the doors and its windows were locked and they were unable to get out” Colonel Setlhako said.
The kids were suffocated and that allegedly led to their death.
They were left under their grandparent guidance and their mother was at work.
The case of inquest has been opened and investigations continue.
