Mmakau Police are looking for two suspects after the body of a 13-year-old boy, Neo Ramaswe, was discovered on Sunday afternoon North West police said.

“It is alleged that the boy went missing last week on Thursday. He was last seen by his friends talking with two unknown males, after playing soccer” Captain Amanda Funani said.

“According to information received by the police, the mother of the boy went looking for him at nearby relatives. When she could not find him there,  she reported him missing to the police on Saturday” She asserted.

“Neo’s young lifeless body was discovered on Sunday in an open field at Mmakau Village in Section Block 7, close to his home and the following body parts were cut off: throat, tongue and kidneys and the skin from his face” Funani outlined. 

At this stage it is suspected that Neo was killed for “muti”purposes and a murder case are being investigated.
