Mahikeng- The training centre has been renewed to serve as a world class, accredited centre that should provide training and capacity building for subsistence and smallholder farmers.

Premier Modise congratulated all Muslims who have performed the Haj and wish all Muslims a joyous Eid.
Eid-ul-Adha, or the Feast of Sacrifice at the end of the Haj marks the story of the Prophet Ebrahim and the immense sacrifice that he and his family were prepared to make for the sake of truth and faith.
“The rituals and symbolic acts contained in the Haj are a constant reminder of the principles by which we are called on to live our lives by: faith; repentance; honesty, simplicity; equality and charity.We call on all our people from across all faiths to share in the spirit of Eid” says Modise.In Mahikeng Eid-Ul-Adha prayers are to be held at the Rugby Stadium in Riveiera Park as from 7:00 am.
