Rustenburg Police are investigating a case of arson and malicious damage to property after a Training Centre was allegedly burnt down in the early hours of today.
The incident occurred at Jabula Hostel of the Anglo Platinum mine in Rustenburg on Thursday morning.
“It is alleged that the perpetrators also burnt down two conveyer belts. One was burnt between UG2 and Batho Pele shaft and the second conveyer belt was burnt at Khuseleka shaft number 2. The culprits managed to flee the scene” Brigadier Thulani Ngubane.
No arrest have been made and the cases are still under investigation.
