Mmakau- On Wednesday night, 26 September 2012, the police were called to a house in New town Section in Mmakau, close to Brits by concerned neighbours.

On arrival the body of a 32-year-old Zimbabwean female was found.

“She was allegedly hit with an axe on her head and neck by her boyfriend. Their two daughters, aged 7 years and eight months were also allegedly assaulted by their father with a heavy object on their heads and taken to a local hospital in a critical condition” said Myburgh.

The suspect is still at large. He is allegedly between the ages of 35-40 years old and known as  Philip Sibanda.

He is allegedly a Mozambique national.
