Mmabatho- North West Police Divers are hard at work search for a eight year girl after their mother intentional threw them in a dam.

Sergeant Moiloa said Police were called at Tontonyane village in Mmabatho after a woman,32 took her two daughters along with her to the dam.

She allegedly tried to commit suicide by throwing her eight year old daughter along with her sibling aged four and she followed.

“Police were called at Tontonyane village after some allegations that a woman tried to commit suicide by drowning herself with her kids this morning” sergeant Moiloa said.

“Police rushed to the scene and rescued a 32 year old woman and her four year old kid. North West Police Divers are working round the clock to find a eight year old daughter who is still missing” yelled Moiloa.

According to information received, the gruesome event were discovere by a member of community who in turn informed the police.

Police are still at the scene and more details will follow soon.
