The Congress of South African Trade unions in the North West will be holding its third provincial congress under the theme Advance working class power for socialism and mobilise against corruption and exploitation – role of the working class in the liberation struggle- strengthening COSATU for total emancipation.

The congress will be held from today until Sunday.  On the first day will be at Trim Park in Potchefstroom and from there it will continue at the Madiba banquet hall for the 2nd and the 3rd day.

Provincial General Secretary, Solly Phetoe said on the first day the congress will be starting with the registration from 12h00 until 13h30 when the official opening will be taking place.
