Wolmaranstad- Three suspects who were arrested in connection of a missing head of Ezekiel Motloung will appear back in court on the 16 of July for bail applications. 

Thabang Rampai(20), Daniel Letlhoma(24) and a Sangoma Motlatsi Phiri(32) appeared briefly at Wolmaranstad Magistrate Court today and their case were reminded.

They were arrested after a municipal worker discover a gruesome event at Lobaleng Location at the graveyard. The municipal worker were busy cleaning the graveyard and realise that the was a grave that was tempered with.

 It was discovered that the body with a missing head belongs to Ezekiel Motloung.

Two days after Motloung was buried, a municipal worker alerted the family that the grave had been tampered with. When they arrived at the grave with the police they found Motloung’s head had been cut off.

According to relatives of Ezekiel Motloung, who was buried on July 1, the three arrested after a tip-off were well known to them. They had attended Motloung’s funeral and had been very helpful.

At the time, police spokesman Brigadier Thulani Ngubane said the body was still in the coffin, but the head was missing.

” Three suspects will remain in custody after the magistrate postpone their case to 16 July and they will be appearing for bail appearance” Captain Pelonomi Makau said.
