A shocking incident was reported to the Police in Makwasie Hills near Wolmaransstad.

On Monday, July 02, at about 08:00 police were alerted by workers at the Makwasie Hills Municipality in North West who were working at the Lobaleng township graveyard when they noticed that  one of the graves was tempered with.

They immediately alerted the family that had just buried their loved one on Saturday. The family quickly informed the Police.

  “On arrival at grave yard the police discovered that indeed a body of a man that was buried had been exhumed without permission. Further Police investigation revealed that the body was still in the coffin but it was beheaded” Captain Ngubane said.

The body of the deceased was taken to Wolmaranstad State Mortuary.

 It is still unknown who performed the evil deed.

The Police would like any member of the community to report the matter to the Police by contacting Brigadier Thulani Ngubane 082 3724511 or 1011 and the nearby Police station. Police are investigating the matter and the violation of cops and grave yard is being investigated.
