Mooinooi- A 29-year-old victim was gang raped by three suspects on Friday 29 June 2012 at about 23:30. The incident happened at Mamba Informal Settlement. It is alleged that the victim and her boyfriend were from the nearby tavern on their way home when they were confronted by the suspects who pointed them with a firearm. “Allegedly the complainant’s boyfriend managed to run away leaving her behind” Captain Amanda Funani said. The suspects then took the complainant under the bridge where they raped her.
