The ANC Youth League on Thursday demanded that Limpopo learners still waiting for textbooks be given a free pass.

“We demand that all learners be given the obligatory pass as the situation is stimulated by the government itself,” provincial spokesman Klaas Nono Mabunda said in a statement.

“The lack of learner support materials particularly textbooks comes with a lot of misfortunes to learners in grade 11 and 12,” said Mabunda.

Entry to the institutions of higher learning was determined by pupils’ performance on this term in the school calendar.

Though KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga have endorsed the document, indications from ANC structures in other provinces, as well as within ANC alliance partner Cosatu, are that the policy proposal will be rejected when the ruling party holds its policy conference next week.

While either of Gordon Igesund or Steve Komphela could be the man to help get Bafana out of the rut they are in, the biggest challenge facing our football is building a platform for sustained success at the highest level.

And sadly, it looks like the men in charge of the game in our country are oblivious to this.

Even though being on radio wasn’t her ideal decision, she really appreciate the time and career path she chose.

” I was still at college and writing my final exams, so I was already looking for a job then heard an ad (ya gore)at a local radio station that they are looking for an on air presenters and news readers. “To be on radio you need to be passionate  and have the love of it.the love for it. If you are commitment and of course a voice hahahaha le di qualifications. If you have qualifications in Journalism and Communications” said Selogilwe.

“Eish, my main challenge as a child was when my parents divorced. I was only  five and was all confusing and very devastating for me and my two siblings, and at that very same period I lost my grandpa, may his soul rest in peace. We had a special bond, I remember I would insist gore e nne ena a ntlhapisang(bath me).

South Africa is alive with possibilities,Youth Month to me its actually a reminder that Aluta Continua.

The youth of 76,fought their struggle and we enjoying the fruit of that, but still today we faced with a different struggle, struggle against rape, unemployrment, poverty and drug and alcohol abuse.

We should be fighting against this so that the next generation remember us as a generation who paved a way of a  better life for them, not remember us as a lost generation” said Bayo.
