TAUNG HOSPITAL CEO FREE…FOR NOW!!!

BY Obakeng Maje

TAUNG– Yesterday Taung Circuit Court released the Taung District Hospital CEO, Mr Cwaile in conditions. Cwaile was arrested two months ago after being accused of engaging sextual activities with a minor.

The charges against Taung Hopspital CEO was provisional withdrawn. even though is still unclear what prompted the magistrate to withdraw charges, it seems the evidence presented before magistrate was not that convincing after all.

Cwaile was arrested after allegedly went on a drinking spree with a 15 year-old girl where he slept with her afterwards.

“I could not deny nor attest to that, that the charges were withdrawn because of lack of evidence and as the matter is still under investigations: said Captain Kheswa.

Even though the investigating officer, Captain Kheswa could not shed the light on the matter, we adamant that the prosecutor was not happy about the evidence and provisionally withdraw charges to give the investigative officer more time.

We tried to get hold of mr Cwaile to get his side of the story before going to print, but that resulted to zeal!

The Department of Education yesterday said they no nothing about the claim as it only came to life late yesterday. Motshekga was given flak this week when her department failed to deliver books to Limpopo schools even after court ordered her to do so.

Democratic Alliance said this morning that, if the is any truth to the claim made by contractor is anything to go by then the minister have much to explain.

“The Democratic Alliance in Limpopo inspected the site… yesterday where a contractor is claiming that they are being paid by government to destroy the books,” spokeswoman on education Desiree van der Walt said in a statement.

Van Der Walt said The shortages of reading material in schools across Limpopo made the destruction of the books “unacceptable”.

“It is unthinkable that books which are still of value to children with no access to reading material could be disposed of in this careless way.

“What kind of a person or regime sanctions the destruction of books?”

Textbooks, stationery dumped in Limpopo!!!

Textbooks and stationery were dumped for disposal at a site in Seshego, near Polokwane, while many schools were still without these materials, Cope said on Saturday.

Congress of the People MP Tshilidzi Ravhuanzwo said the party was made aware about a week ago that “piles and piles” of books were being dumped.

The books and stationery, some still in their original packaging, were being burnt and shredded.

“So many schools don’t have books, and [even old books] could have been used in libraries,” she said.

Ravhuanzwo said that books from the previous curriculum would still be useful to teachers and pupils because the learning content did not change.

“We really need those old books, I would have like to have stopped them [destroying the books].

BY Obakeng Maje

Bloemfontein Celtic defender, Eric Mathoho is one property that keeps lot of soccer fanatics captivated up to so far. So many deals came, sealed and dusted.

Eric Mathoho, who is believed to have signed with Kaizer Chiefs is now given a new twist to his deal. Bloemfontein Celtic CEO, Khumbulani Konco told othe local magazine that Mathoho is still Celtic player and on top of that Mamelodi Sundowns is also in the race to sign the player.

“Sundowns are also still in the picture, so don’t rule out Sundowns … look, the only reason there is a delay is that Celtic are still looking for a replacement for Mathoho. If we get someone that we are comfortable enough that he is a suitable replacement for Mathoho, then the boy will go but before that, no.

“If we get a replacement today, we will sell the boy today but if we get a replacement in a year’s time then we will sign the agreement to sell Mathoho in a year,” Konco adds.

Sundowns signed Edward Mangele yesterday, grabbing him under Chiefs nose. We previously reported that Mathoho signed with Chiefs.

And according the information we received from our high ranking mole at Kaizer Chiefs, we very adamant that Mathoho is a Chiefs player.

Whether is any truth to that, only time will tell!!!
