South African Football Association is expected to annouce soon who should take over the reigns as Bafana coach. The football organisation parted ways with former Bafana coach last month after poor display Bafana presented during a 1-all draw against FIFA less-ranking, against Ethopia during World Cup Qualifiers that took place a month agao in Rustenburg.
Now the new twist has come to the fore that certain officials want Moroka Swallows coach, Gordon Igesund to take over while others want current interim coach, Steve Komphela to countinue.
This might delay the process as the soccer body need to decide and get over it.
SAFA Head of Communication, Dominic Chimhavi said the are some issues that need to be sorted out and cannot deny nor agree that there are certain division regarding the Bafana coach.
” I cannot tell if there is any division regarding who should take over and we have agreed that the coach who will take over will not receive the same amount we offered to previous coaches. The inflation has changed and also the market” he said.
There are rumours that go around saying the coach that will be hired will nort receive the same amount of salary the previous coach received which it was ranged to R850 000, but will only be paid R500 000.
The former coach, Pitso Mosimane is rumoured to taking the soccer body to court for unfair dismissal and want to be paid all the money was entittled to until his contract come to an end. Pitso Mosimane believed to be earning R8000 000 and he contract was due until 2014.
Which if he would have seen his contract, we will have received close to whopping R24 Millions.
