TAUNG- Come 30th of June,2012 Taung will be buzzing with lots of funk music. One of Taung’s finest Deejay is celebrating his birth and this time around he promise to be firing all cylinders. 

Notorious Dj as he is fondly known to his masses will be hosting the mother of all bashs in Pudimong Community Hall on the 30th of June.

He will be featuring local talents and giving them that platform to shine. The likes of Tsedikgolo will show case their talent during the event. 

However Vaaltar Fm presenter does not celebrate his birthday alone, he will be joined by Deejay Buzz who is also a house hold in the community. Deejay Buzz also is celebrating his birthday too, so it will be a joined force only for the love of music.

“We will be celebrating my birthday in style and promise that the show will be epic. So make sure you get your ticket to the event for only R20. The tickets will be available before the end of this week,so make sure you get it to avoid disappointment” Funky Dj said.

As we celebrating the Youth Month, our crew put a vivacious Dj on the spot by asking him what does 16th of June means to him as it seems nowadays the Youth of today forgot the theme and he responded.

“We have to commemorate the day as it really means a lot to us. The youth of 1976 fought tirelessly for the freedom we acquired, so we need to respect that” NotoriousDj said.

Thato host a Youthful show at Vaaltar Fm, a Community Radio Station in the area of Greater Taung. He have a vast experience when coming to music background and gather some hopes of running his own Deejaying Academic School in the province in the future.

“I would like to see myself running a successful Dj Academy in the province and growing in life, either career-wise and self-actualized” Thato said.

He believes Taung has a talent and want to see Youths being successful and by organizing this event is part of his community responsibility. He said if all of us stand up and play our part, the Taung will be a better place.

” I am very optimistic that if everyone can stand up and come to the fore, our community will be a better society” He said.
