Kaizer Chiefs are very adamant that they will get their men, even though the competition seems intensified. Kaizer Chiefs announced a month ago that they have agreed personal terms with Bloemfontein Celtics defender, Eric Mathoho and only waiting for Celtics to accept their offer.
It seems the Naturena-based club has a mammoth task to accomplished because the free-spending Mamelodi Sundowns also want to lure the hard-nail defender to Chloorkop.
Chiefs Director of Football, Bobby Motaung say they will not be engaged in the catfight as every player has a choice.
““We have made our plans, and that includes having alternative targets. If a certain player decides not to joins us, we will look at our alternatives,” Motaung tells KickOff.com.
“We always hope a player will join us, but we will not be drawn into an auction situation.” he said.
Kaizer Chiefs hoe to bring Free State Stars, Edward Manqele and Bloemfontein Celtics defender, Eric Mathoho to Naturena to help the club revive to former-selves.
It seems for the Soweto giant to bring back glory days back to Naturena, they will have to break a bank and find their men.
They’ve already obtain a services of Bafana Bafana right-back, Siboniso Gaxa and former Supersport captain, Morgan Gould.
