The Letlhabile police are looking for a 12-year-old epileptic boy, who was last seen yesterday, 3 June 2012. It is alleged that a passer-by saw the boy laid unconsciously on the side of the road between Block C and Block G in Letlhabile. She then asked the house nearer to assist the child.
The couple in the household attended to child in attempts to resuscitate him, they gave him water to wake him.
When the boy woke up, it is further alleged that the child apparently continued on his journey further away from home and was not seen thereafter. The child’s mother reported a missing child at Letlhabile police station when he did not return home in the evening that day. The investigation then lead to this incident that happened earlier on, it is at this stage not known where the child went after he was successfully resuscitated by the couple at their home.
The community and the police K 9 unit, in partnership with the PPS Security Company’s dog unit have been searching for him since. The search will again resume tomorrow (Tuesday 5 June 2012) with the help of a helicopter.
He was last seen wearing blue short Jeans, Black T-shirt with a navy-blue jacket, gray socks and sandals. If anyone has information or has seen the young boy, please contact the Letlhabile police station on 012-2510794/5/7
