Bongani Ndulula says he will definitely still be at Orlando Pirates next season, despite seeing precious little game-time in the past few months.
‘Drogba’ caught the eye early in the season with some strong performances before injury hampered his progress and, upon his return, he struggled to break into the first team, despite banging in the goals in the Reserve League.
A possible loan move has been touted, while Ajax Cape Town also made known their interest during the January transfer window, but Ndulula insists he is staying with The Buccaneers.
“Rest assured, I will be an Orlando Pirates player next season,” he tells KickOff.com.
He adds: “I’m not injured, I’m in good condition, but the team is performing well and the coach [Augusto Palacios] has his plans what he wants to do.
“I feel there is no need for the coach to change a winning team. When the 11 players in the starting line-up are helping the team to win matches, it’s not only them winning, but the entire club.
“Of course it is every player’s wish to play all the matches and I am no different, but the coach has his plans and I respect that.”
